    Small Service

    This service helps maintain your vehicle and prevents unforeseen faults. Included are; Engine Oil and Oil Filter change. In addition we check and report on the following; Brakes Front and Rear, Tyre Condition and Thread Depth, all Bulbs, Suspension and Shocks, Instruments, Engine and Gearbox leaks, Exhaust system, CV Joints, Wipers, Check all levels and refill, Check any warning lights and reset the service computer using the very latest diagnostic equipment.     Full Service

    This is a very comprehensive annual service for trouble free motoring. It exceeds most manufacturers service schedules with up to 55 checks and adjustments and includes the replacement of spark plugs (in petrol vehicles), the air filter element and the pollen filter (where applicable) as well as changing the engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter (in diesel vehicles). All service books will be filled out and stamped. 

    The parts used are either ‘original spare parts’ or ‘matching quality parts’ and are recorded as such. All parts used by Dublin Autos are manufactured to Original Equipment (OE) quality. All parts are guaranteed for a minimum 12 months or 16,000 Kilometers (whichever is sooner). For a full list of the checks we carry out in our Full Service see our Service Schedule.     Brake Pads & Disks

    Brakes are a critical safety item and to provide maximum stopping power, your brakes must be at optimum braking efficiency. Regular brake checks and maintenance are of great importance for the safety of your vehicle and help reduce the possibility of more costly bills in the future.     Clutch Kit Replacement

    In many vehicles, a clutch is needed to disconnect the gearbox from the engine. The clutch enables us to smoothly engage the spinning engine shaft to a non-spinning transmission by controlling the slippage between them.
    All clutch kits and components supplied by Dublin Autos are manufactured to the original equipment specification (i.e. they are designed and manufactured to the meet or exceed the same product supplied by the main dealer) and carry a full manufacturer’s warranty.

    Common Clutch faults are:

    SLIP – Caused by oil on the friction plate or worn friction plate, the symptoms of clutch slip would be partial or total loss of drive, vehicle speed lower than normal compared with engine speed.

    DRAG – Clutch cable not at correct adjustment or centre plate sticking on splines. The symptoms of this would be difficulty in obtaining gear, particularly first and reverse gears.

    JUDDER – Caused by warped friction plate or engine / gearbox mounts broken. The symptoms of this would be a shudder and vibration as vehicle moves off from rest.

    Timing Belt Kit Replacement-We can tell you if it’s due!

    At Dublin Autos our trained technicians also provide a Timing belt replacement service. This is a vital requirement on most vehicles at manufacturer recommended mileages. 

    If the Timing belt is not replaced at the set intervals it could break and then most often causes expensive damage to the engine. This can be a complex job that requires skill and specialist knowledge and technical information, all of which is available from our network of nationwide garages. 

    The replacement timing belt kit includes; timing belt, associated belts (where necessary), water pump (where necessary) and tensioner pulley (where necessary).
